Wholehearted LivingIt does feel good to be in service to those around you. The essence of a great friendship is showing up and being there for the other person without judgment. This applies to you as well. Taking time to take care of yourself is not selfish. Habits or past experiences can get in the way of taking care of ourselves. To remove those blocks we focus on identifying habits that no longer serve you, addressing the root of a habit and creating healthy habits that last. Once you bring awareness to a habit and uncover what it is that you are actually desiring in the moment (like the way we react to cravings), you can move away from destructive habits. Replacing them with healthy wholehearted ones that are in alignment with who YOU are. One of my favorite quotes is from Dr. Michelle May:
"When a craving doesn't come from hunger, eating will never satisfy it" Moving toward Wholehearted Living
"When you do not treat yourself the way you want others to treat you, you can never change the way things are" - Rhonda Byrne |
